The Animal Hospital of Nashua is seeking experienced veterinarians for both our general practice and emergency hospitals. Veterinarian – General Practice

This position will see a mix of urgent care and wellness care. Our Veterinarian’s work on a set schedule to maintain a work life balance. Our Veterinarian’s work together sharing knowledge and skill to help each other grow and continue to learn. They have access to our on-site referral services to assist with the needs of their patients.

Skills and Qualifications

•A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
•Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of New Hampshire.
•Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
•The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and clients.
•Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.
•A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
•Develop and maintain trusting client relationships with every client who visits the hospital.
•Perform the primary functions of a small animal veterinarian, namely, examine and treat patients, prescribe treatments, perform surgery.
•Respond appropriately to the caseload of the hospital as directed by the staff.
•Provide follow-up communication and care, as appropriate, for all cases treated.
•Provide follow-up communication and care for any patient, as requested.
•Assist in retaining existing clients, developing new clients and enhancing the hospital reputation in the community through community outreach.
•Participate in providing continuing education for our staff.
•Attend and participate in all team and individual meetings as requested.

Veterinarian – Emergency

Do you love the ER but want to be involved with the cases you treat after they are discharged? If so, Animal Medical Center of New England is searching for an ER veterinarian. We are AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor hybrid practice in Nashua, New Hampshire—located just 35 miles North of Boston.  We’ve been serving the local community for 30 years! Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1 year experience in emergency medicine. Excellent surgical, medical, client communication and interpersonal skills are paramount. Candidate will want to contribute to the constant development of themselves and our team. Competitive salary and benefits including health, dental, liability insurance, CE allowance, and 401(k) are offered. This position will involve working shifts that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays as our emergency service receives cases 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Our Emergency Veterinarians typically work 3 – 12 hour shifts per week.

Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1 year experience in emergency medicine. This position will involve Applicant must be willing to work overnight shifts and rotating weekends. Our Emergency Veterinarians typically work 3 – 12 hour shifts per week.
