Our Doctors at the Animal Hospital of Nashua are dedicated individuals who want to insure the health of your pet.  Because of their training and expertise, they can help direct your pet's medical vaccines, common surgeries, or diagnosis of illnesses.  

 

 

Doctor Leo Bishop

Doctor Bishop grew up in the Midwest and received his doctorate degree from Michigan State University.  Leo founded The Animal Hospital of Nashua in 1985.  In 1995 the Hospital moved across the street into the custom built facility you see today, and in 1997 became a 24-hour hospital.  Leo now spends his time overseeing staffing and operations at AHN.  In his spare time, Leo enjoys traveling, attending continuing education seminars, and spending time with his family and many pets.

 

 

Doctor Abby Boulter

Dr. Abbie Boulter graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 after completing her B.S. in Biological Science from the University of Vermont.  Dr. Boulter previously practiced in Massachusetts and is delighted to return to New Hampshire where she was born and raised.  Abbie lives in Nashua with her husband and also two cats named “Isis” and “Eros.”

 Dr. Boulter is a member of the American Animal Medical Association (AAHA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). 

 

 

 

 

Doctor Christopher "Kit" Burwell

Dr Burwell graduated form the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991.  He then worked in a 24-hour Small Animal Practice in Portland Oregon before moving to New Hampshire.

Kit is married and has two children, two dogs - "Steve" and "Pavel", and tow cats - "Tillie and "Calvin".

 

 

 

Doctor Susan Durner

Dr Durner was born and raised in Long Island , New York.  She spend her teen years as a veterinary technician.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the Iowa State University, while completing her D.V.M. in the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Following her first year in a dairy and swine practice in Iowa and Wisconsin, she moved to Illinois.  After 10 years of small animal medicine and surgery in Chicago, Susan headed east for 2 year at a companion animal practice in Lexington, MA., prior to moving to Southern New Hampshire.

Dr. Durner is experienced in abdominal, soft tissue, and reconstructive surgery.

Susan enjoys time with her husband and 2 young daughters in addition to various outdoor activities including, gardening, skiing, swimming and biking.

 

 

Doctor Michael Fraysse

Dr. Michael Fraysse received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Iowa State University .  Dr. Fraysse has expertise in the areas of preventative medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. He joined our team of general practice doctors in September of 2005.

Dr. Fraysse resides in Derry , NH with his wife, Karen.  His family includes four dogs, two cats and two horses.  Outside of work he enjoys running, triathlons, horseback riding, hiking and traveling.

Dr. Fraysse is a member of the American Animal Medical Association (AAHA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Doctor Kelly Hansen
